A cycling accident or incident usually involves the cyclist and another road user such as a car, pedestrian, or another type of vehicle.
What you should do if involved in an accident.
Check yourself and any other person for injuries.
Move to the side of the road or pavement asap to avoid any other accident.
If any injuries then call 999 and request an ambulance.
Obtain the other persons details, registration number, make and model of vehicle, colour.
Take photos of vehicles involved and your own bicycle.
Obtain any witness details, names, phone numbers.
If another vehicle was involved report it to the police.
If any damage to you or the bicycle contact a solicitor for legal advice, you may have to pursue a civil claim.

Drivers not checking mirrors before maneuvers.
Poor visibilty in the dark.
Driving not giving cyclists enough room when overtaking.
